AFTER SCHOOL FAQs

How does Clayton help children transition from the school day?

We understand that after a full day of school, children need a balance of structure and flexibility. Our program allows time to unwind, connect with friends, and ease into activities, helping children feel comfortable and supported as they transition into the afternoon.

What if my child is shy or doesn’t know anyone?

Our staff is intentional about helping every child feel welcome. We take time to build relationships, introduce routines, and create opportunities for children to connect with peers so they can feel confident and included.

How do you handle behavior or challenges that come up?

We focus on positive guidance and relationship-building. Through Clayton Quest, children learn skills like self-regulation, communication, and problem-solving, and our staff supports them in practicing those skills in a respectful, encouraging environment.

What if my schedule changes — do you offer flexibility?

We know family schedules can shift. Clayton offers flexible options, and our team is happy to work with you to find a solution that fits your needs whenever possible.
