Who Can Enroll?
Any current Keller ISD employee may enroll their child. KISD staff will have priority enrollment and reserved space.
Why is Clayton Operating the Former ELC North Site?
Keller ISD is closing the ELC North campus and moving students to neighborhood schools. This left a gap in affordable, quality childcare for staff. Clayton, a trusted partner of KISD for over 32 years, worked with district leaders to develop a supportive solution.
Clayton will now operate early childhood services at the former ELC North site, prioritizing district employees while offering the possibility of future community enrollment.
Does Clayton Operate Other Early Childhood Programs?
Yes. In addition to afterschool programming, Clayton has operated early learning centers in Fort Worth since 2004.
How Is the CCDC Different From the KEEP Program?
What’s Staying the Same:
- State-licensed program with the same class ratios and regulatory oversight as KEEP.
- We use the same curriculum as KEEP.
- We are working to hire current KEEP staff to maintain continuity for children and families.
What’s Changing:
- Payroll deduction is no longer available. Parents will pay through our online portal (iCare) and can schedule weekly auto-drafts.
- Meals included! Breakfast, lunch, and two nutritious snacks will be provided daily by our on-site nutrition specialist.
- Extended hours: 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to support KISD families and eventually the broader community.
- Slightly higher tuition due to costs like meals, rent, and extended staff hours.
