A New Chapter Begins

The merger between Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County and Clayton Youth Enrichment is now complete.

This marks an exciting new chapter for both organizations and, most importantly, for the children and families we have the privilege of serving. By bringing together two trusted organizations with more than 150 years of combined experience, we are creating a stronger organization with greater capacity to serve children and families across North Texas.

While the combined organization is now operating under the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County name, Clayton programs will continue to serve families in the same familiar school and community settings. For Clayton families, continuity remains our top priority.

The programs, staff, and day-to-day experiences your children know and trust will continue. Clayton’s approach to providing high-quality before- and after-school and early childhood programs remains a core part of the combined organization’s offerings. This partnership also strengthens our ability to support families by expanding access to additional resources, staff support, and organizational infrastructure—all while preserving the high standard of care you expect.

Together, the unified organization will serve more than 100,000 youth each year, expanding access to high-quality youth development programs while building on the strengths and expertise of both organizations to create a more sustainable future for the communities we serve.

We know that change often brings questions, and we are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. We will continue to share updates and ensure our Clayton families are informed every step of the way.

Thank you for being part of the Clayton community. Your trust and partnership mean so much to us, and as we move into this next chapter, our commitment to your children remains as strong as ever. Together, we’re creating more opportunities for more kids than ever before.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my child’s Clayton program still going to exist?

Yes. We don’t anticipate any new program changes for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026-27.

Will my payment terms or tuition/fees change?

There are no immediate changes for tuition/fees for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026-27. Fees and tuition costs are listed on the Clayton website by location.

Will my child’s teacher change?

While changes can happen for many reasons, including personal and business reasons, we are not planning changes to your child’s current teachers or site directors. Maintaining those trusted relationships is a top priority throughout this transition. Summer and after school programs in 2026-27 will still be the Clayton programs your children enjoy, but with added resources and opportunities.

Will Camp Clayton summer camps run as scheduled?

Yes, all information on our summer camps and summer registration can be found on our website.

Will program locations change?

Will class sizes increase?

Our current teacher to student ratios will not change for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026-27. Maintaining safety, security, and a focus on preparing children for great lives will remain paramount.

How will families be updated throughout the transition?

We will continue to communicate with our Clayton families via email and our website and social media pages. If you have additional questions at this time, please email ccc@claytonyouth.org.
